Time to consider what an ice sheet is worth

I haven't time to blog much lately, but in honor of news coming out of a Climate Change Congress now going on in Copenhagen about the faster than expected break up of the Greenland ice sheet, I bring your attention to a post contributed a few years ago by my friend Paul Baer, on The worth of an ice sheet.
